Beer Me — Sam Adams White Ale

This week's beer review is on Sam Adams' White Ale. The White Ale is a Belgian sam whitestyle with an American twist with a good taste to it. It's crisp and clean, almost tastes more like a Hef than a Belgian White. I bought a 6-pack of it at my local grocer and I've also had it on tap in Boston. Both ways served it's an excellent beer that, when ordered, makes you look like a great snob. Score! The 6-pack was $6.99+deposit and the on-tap 20-oz before the Silver Jews show was $3.50. Great bargain! I give it the following:

taste: 3.5/5

snob appeal: 4/5

price: 4/5

finishability: 5/5

alcohol content: 5.3%ish

color: partly cloudy with a reddish hue

So overall, that's a what, 16.5/20? Plus 5.3 for the ABV….making this beer having a 21.8/20. I recommend it!

Stay tuned for more beer reviews, sports updates, and dude recipes!
